B.R. Cohn Sonoma Cabernet Sauvignon Olive Hill Estate Vineyard 2007

The long warm 2007 growing season, along with a very low crop and smaller concentrated berries yielded us one of our best Cabernets to date. This wine has much of the ripeness of 2004 with more pronounced aromas and flavors of plum, black currant, and cherry. As always, this exceptional vintage was fermented in small lots to ensure the character of each part of the Olive Hill Vineyard. This vintage was aged for 24 months in only the finest tight grain French oak. A bouquet of fine oak, anise and mint combine with supple tannin and a long finish to produce a well-balanced rich full-bodied Cabernet that will age well for years to come and drink well at your table now.  B.R.
