Explosively aromatic with a wonderful progression of aromatics from
rosemary to
sweet roasted meat, roasted veggies, crystallized ginger,
fine french soap notes.
Really compelling nose. In the mouth the wine
is youthfully taut with ripe tannins
spreading out across the palate,
layered and complex with notes of balsam, herbs,
and rich licorice ginger dark plums finishing with slight good dose of spicy, expensive
oak. Wine Spectator rating of 97. Wine Advocate 95.
